My (Tentative) Debut Author Challenge List

This is my first year participating in this challenge,  so I'm keeping the list to the minimum twelve books for now. However, it may grow in the future. These are just some of the books that I'm particularly excited about! (:

Cinder by Marissa Meyer: The reviews of this book have all been great, and I love a good fairy tale retelling! (Especially one in a dystopia setting that features cyborgs.)

The Gathering Storm by Robin Bridges: A royal female necromancer in the late 1800s? Sounds amazing! I can't wait for this one!

Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig: Another retelling, but this one is a twist on Robin Hood. I have always had a love for all things Robin Hood, so I can't tell you how excited I am for this book!

The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg: In this, the protagonist, Brie actually dies of a broken heart. Very interesting concept!

Ditched: A Love Story by Robin Mellom: Justina is ditched on the night of her prom by her best guy friend and now she's got to figure out why. I have a feeling this is going to be really good.

Tempest by Julie Cross: The protagonist is a teenage guy! As a girl, I like reading books from the female perspective, but a male narrator is always refreshing. And there are so few! Not to mention, there's time travel, Enemies of Time, and much more cool stuff.

Everneath by Brodi Ashton: A twist on the classic Persephone tale. Greek mythology is enough to get me hooked, and the cover is gorgeous!
